DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Jalandhar Organized informative lecture

PTB Education News Jalandhar : The Department of Industries, Government of Punjab conducted an informative lecture on self-employment for Physiotherapy graduates at DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Jalandhar. The event was organised with aim of motivating physiotherapist to start own clinics and be employment generators.

This would not only be of larger benefit to the society but also retard the brain drain that is being witnessed by Punjab. On behalf of the Punjab Government,Sh. Manjeet Lally –Functional manager and Sh.Gurpreet Singh – Block level extension officer were the resource persons. Theyinformed the attendees of Prime Minister Employment Generation  Program and explained in detail about

 

the process and quantum of subsidy and loan being offered by government/ public sector banks to facilitate qualified professionals to start their own clinics.They also responded to the queries of the attendees regarding scope and growth possibilities under the scheme. Around95 Physiotherapists from all over Punjab attended the Lecture.

Principal Sh. ML Aeri. Former Director DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi whi was present as special inviteeurged and encouraged the attendees to think out of the box and strive for excellence. Dr. Jitendra Sharma Principal of the collegethanked the resource persons and enthused the participants to take maximum advantage of the Government effort for ensuring health and prosperity in the country.
