PTB Education News : GNA University, through its Intellectual Property Management and Commercialization (IPMC) Cell, in collaboration with the Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST), successfully organized a National Level Seminar on April 28, 2026.
The seminar aimed to highlight the role of Intellectual Property (IP), Technology Readiness Levels (TRL), and academia–industry collaboration in transforming innovative ideas into commercially viable technologies. The event witnessed participation from 200+ delegates, including academicians, researchers, students, and industry professionals from universities and colleges.
The seminar featured distinguished experts, including Dr. Deepak Kapoor, Senior Scientist, PSCST (Guest from PSCST); Ms. Prerna Dalal, CEO & Project Manager, CLINTAKE Solutions; Er. Amardev Singh, Assistant Professor, NITTTR; Dr. T. Pavan Kumar, Principal Scientist – Chemistry & IPR, CSIR-IMMT; and Advocate Govindpreet Singh, IPR Expert. Their sessions provided valuable insights into innovation, intellectual property protection, and technology commercialization.
