DAV Institute of Physiotherapy Jalandhar commemorated World Leprosy Day in which Dr. Harmeet Singh Ghotra

PTB Education News Jalandhar : D.A.V. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation commemorated World Leprosy Day in which Dr. Harmeet Singh Ghotra, Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon – Sacred Heart Hospital, Jalandhar participated as the Resource Person for the event.

The lecture delved upon various neurological aspects of Leprosy that require surgical interventions. The Neurosurgical techniques for the repair of nerves were briefly explained with help of video demonstrations.

Adding on to this, broad rehabilitation guidelines from the perspective of a neurosurgeon were also discussed. The students of Bachelors of Physiotherapy and Masters of Physiotherapy attended the lecture.

Dr. Jitendra Sharma, Principal of D.A.V. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation appreciated the efforts of Dr. Ghotra for sharing his vast experience and knowledge with students and faculty of the college.
