PTB Big News Jalandhar : After productive law & order review meeting in Amritsar, today chaired the second Law & Order Review Meeting at Jalandhar with officers of Commissionerate Police Jalandhar and Jalandhar Range including Hoshiarpur Police, Kapurthala Police, Jalandhar Rural Police & SBS Nagar Police.
Reviewed ongoing counter-terrorism strategies, dismantling of organised crime networks and emerging law & order challenges across the region. Special emphasis was laid on proactive policing and intelligence coordination ahead of the upcoming #FestiveSeason2025. The meeting was attended by ADGP-AGTF, ADGP-Counter Intelligence, CP Jalandhar, DIG Jalandhar Range, AIG CI Jalandhar and SSPs of the concerned districts.
During my visit to the PAP Complex, Jalandhar, DGP Punjab Gaurav yadav inaugurated the modernised outdoor stadium, now equipped with state-of-the-art amenities to nurture talent and promote sports excellence. Punjab Police remains dedicated to protecting citizens with professionalism and zero tolerance for crime or terror.
