Guest Lecture on Innovative Science & Technology for Next Generation Advanced Devices at GNA University

PTB Education News Jalandhar / Phagwara : GNA University under the banner of GU – IIC & School of Natural Sciences organizeda Guest lecture on “Innovative Science & Technology for Next Generation Advanced Devices”. At the event, an expert talk by Dr.Sumit Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Research & Innovation, Division of Research & Development, Lovely Professional University Jalandharwas delivered.The main objective behind the Guest Lecture was to talk about the various innovations and advanced devices available in Science & Technology.

The resource person talked about sensors, microprocessor, devices, and Hybrid Material (Inorganic-Organic) and their applications in rockets, biosensors, and small satellites. He also talkedabout thecentre of space research at his division and focuses on different government funding agencies such as SERB, and DST.

The expert also focused onthe internship program for the students and motivated the students to do their prototype projects.A total of 130 students & 14 faculty members participated in the lecture. In the end, the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.YogeshBhalla, HOD of the School of Natural Sciences.

The attendees found the session to be a great learning experience. The lecture helped them in understanding the future generations’ advanced devices and materials. S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor of the University expressed, “I am delighted to see the hard work of the SNS for organizing such informative sessions for the students to grow and excel in their specialised field.”
