PTB Education News Jalandhar : With the blessings of Revered Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji. Revered Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), and with the support of our respected Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji, under the able guidance of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Dharamjit Singh Parmar Sant Baba Bagh Singh University organized “ International Conference on Research and Innovations in Multidisciplinary Studies “ (ICRIMS 22) in association with ICT Academy, Punjab Pollution control Board (PPCB) and Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST), under the Aegis of MoE-IIC & IQAC, from 30th May to 1st June 2022, on the third day of the “ International Conference on Research and Innovations in Multidisciplinary Studies “ (ICRIMS 22) was held in which on the eminent speaker Mr. Manjit Singh Nijjar Mr. Manjit Singh Nijjar, an entrepreneur having more than 34 years of corporate experience from UK with broad political and professional networking at Global Level.
Currently he is working as business development associate with Parkside Hotel Group. He is Senior Honorary NRI coordinator and member of high-0powered investment committee Govt. of Punjab and working on socio-economic development in Punjab. On the day of Conference, he illuminated the Research scholar, academician about the significance of the Global connectivity. He laid emphasis as collaborations and associations with foreign institutions and universities.Mr. JATINDER (JAY) MINHAS Renowned NRI, Social worker and gifted philanthropist Mr. Jatinder (Jay) Minhas addressed the faculty and research scholar in the International conference on ‘Research and innovation in Multidisciplinary studies’ on May 31, 2022 being conducted at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University on May 30, 31 and June 01, 2022. He motivated the young research scholars to do the research for the upliftment of the society. He mentioned in his speech that he is making efforts to get the students of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University with the companies like Google etc. He highlighted the significance of international recognition of this University for the better placements of their students.
Sant Baba Sarwan Singh, (Chancellor, SBBSU), Sant Baba Manmohan Singh (Vice-President, SBBSU), S. Hardaman Singh Minhas (Secretary, SBBSEC) and Prof. Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar (Vice-Chancellor, SBBSU) appreciated the tremendous efforts of Mr. Jay Minhas and acknowledged his philanthropic involvement in SBBSU and adjoining areas. In his address, Mr. Jay Minhas was nostalgic about his passionate association with Dera Sant Baba Bhag Singh Dera, Santpura since his youthful days. He also interacted with the teachers and office bearers of various departments and also emphasized to work in collaboration on various Agricultural projects.
Mr. Jay Minhas also came forward to help and guide students/departments of Allied Health Sciences, Sports, Law etc. Mr. Jay Minhas motivated the faculty members to work passionately and also empathized to come forward to serve SBBSU with his full honesty/integrity, told about the deep association with the university and told that there should be Memorandum of Understanding MOU between the Sant Baba Bagh Singh University and the foreign universities and colleges, and the alumine of the Sant Baba Bagh Singh University should be associated. Sh. Jatinder Minhas told that the Sant Baba Bagh Singh University’s students should be placed in global companies like Google, Youtube, Twitter etc.
On the last day of this conference the award distribution and facilitation ceremony was held. In this event the renowned academicians, officials, faculty members, research scholars and the students were given awards for their contribution in the various fields. In this event four Life time achievement awards were given to Padam Sh. Prof. (Dr.) Harmohinder Singh Bedi ,Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharamjeet Singh Parmar, Sant Baba Bagh Singh University, Prof. (Dr.) Karamjeet Singh Honrable Vice-Chancellor , Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala, Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Pal Vig, Charman, Punjab Pollution Control Board.
