GNA University organized a session on Labour Code, The Way Ahead for all the students

PTB Education News Jalandhar / Phagwara : GNA Business School of GNA University organized a session on Labour Code –The Way Ahead for all the students. The main objective behind holding this guest lecture was to familiarize the students with the changing scenario in terms of employment laws and implementation of Labour codes and their implication on business in near future.

Mr. Sanjaya Kumar (Sr.GM-HR & IR), Hero Cycles and Ms. Saloni Sood ( Deputy Manager-HR) were the guest speakers for the respective session. In total 183 students attended the guest lecture. The lecture commenced with the welcome speech delivered by Kavya and Mukan Kataria , students of BBA Semester 1.

The resource person familiarized the students with the new labour codes and how they will impact the organizations in the future. The consolidation of labour laws in the form of new labour codes was the highlight of the seminar along with what has changed in the employment now and how these codes will impact the salary structure, working conditions, wages and the employee relations remained the focal point.

In the end, questions regarding the labour codes were raised by the students. The questions were very well taken and duly addressed by the resource persons and answered to the utmost satisfaction of the students. The session ended on an enthusiastic and a learning note.
The token of gratitude to the guests were extended by Dean, GNA Business School, Dr. Sameer Varma.

S. Gurdeep Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor appreciated the endeavours of the Department for organising such trending sessions for the budding students. Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor of the University said, “The Department is always ready to offer the best to the Business students in this fast pacing world.” The lecture was duly attended by all the faculty of GNA Business school.
