PTB News “Health” / Jalandhar : World Heart Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and community spirit at CareBest Superspeciality Hospital Jalandhar. Over 400 participants participated in the event, including fitness enthusiasts, members of various gyms, school students, and Jalandhar famous biker group.
The chief guest was Mr. Vini Modi, IAS, SDM, Adampur, and Dr. Raman Gupta, Civil Surgeon, Jalandhar, graced the occasion as a special guest. The 4-kilometer marathon held on the hospital premises was the highlight of the event. The program began with an energetic dance warm-up exercise that filled the participants with enthusiasm and energy.

The entire event was successfully led by Dr. Raman Chawla, Punjab’s senior-most cardiologist. Dr. Chawla delivered a lecture on “Prevention of Heart Disease – Don’t Miss a Beat” on this occasion, emphasizing a healthy lifestyle, timely screening, and preventive measures.
T-shirts bearing the CareBest Hospital logo, certificates, and refreshments were distributed to participants. This event not only successfully raised awareness about heart disease prevention, but also brought together various sections of society to spread the message of “Healthy Heart – Healthy Future.”
